Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is an Mexican-American sportscaster. She currently works for ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. The first time she worked for ESPN in 2016. She is the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been bilingual since the age of nine. The ability to speak two languages helped her to get her first job with Univision, Miami. She worked with national producers on programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. In 2009, the CBS station in St. Petersburg hired her for a position as an sports reporter. The year 2009 saw her move in Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an anchor for the newscast of The Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition to reporting on issues related to immigration and trafficking in drugs on both sides of the Texas-Mexico border, she was the reporter for five minutes of the p.m. Spanish newscast a anchor and reporter for the 9 p.m. news in English as well as another reporter for the 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. Antonietta Collins was born in Veracruz Mexico. In the past, they relocated into Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November in 1985. She also has a sister. The family in 1992 relocated from Mexico and relocated to Miami. They divorced soon after and in 1995, she was married to a naval designer called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 due to kidney cancer. The summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured work. Mark Bergmann was her professor and was also the director of WRMU in which she's a member. They had a very close relationship.
